It is an expectation that all children who attend Charlbury Primary should undertake to complete homework dependent on their year group with their parents’/carers’ support.
We recognise the importance of an active educational partnership between home and school. Homework is one of the ways in which we seek to foster this.
In Key Stage 1, children take a book home every day to read. They may also be asked to do some work on learning sounds or a task related to their topic work.
In Key Stage 2, children are asked to learn spellings and times tables and to read daily. In addition to this they will also be expected to complete homework from across the curriculum.
