We value our links with the community, from local to international.
Members of our community are invited into school to share their knowledge talents and skills for the children's benefit. Parents are also invited to come forward and offer their expertise to see where it could enhance the curriculum. More information on the Knowledge Well project.
Our local Police Officer comes to talk about ‘Stranger Danger’ and Internet Safety with the children; older children also attend a brief course which teaches skills for keeping themselves safe.
Charlbury’s local firefighters come to talk to the children about fire safety in a way that leaves a lasting impression of the dangers of fire.
We have excellent links with local churches. Children visit the churches as part of the Religious Education curriculum.
